The EU Green Deal initiative is a major event in the history of Europe. The humanity should strive to overcome the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation to transform our continent into climate neutral and resource-efficient by 2050.
This global task requires huge efforts from research and education institutions, as well from today’s students who will be the main Green Deal actors tomorrow. All of us, universities, companies, innovation clusters and research centers, should collaborate and exchange best practices to tackle this global challenge together.
The conference “Academia stands for Green Deal” is the platform for academic, scientific, and innovative exchange among all the actors committed to the Green Deal success. We all share the same planet and therefore contributions beyond the EU are more than welcome!
